It is normal for pigment to fade significantly during the initial healing process. The Secondary Touch-Up is where the work is perfected by reinforcing pigment, refining shape, and adjusting color where needed and ultimately where the magic happens. This session is essential, as the majority of pigment retention and final results are achieved here. Secondary Touch-Ups must be completed within 4 to 5 weeks of the initial appointment to ensure optimal healing and results. Appointments scheduled beyond the 5-week window will incur an additional $100 fee due to increased fading and the additional time required to refine the work.
